Zoo’s EthDenver Recap — A Multichain Party
Intro
It’s been a while since we shared any updates with you fellow Zookeepers! This is mostly because the team has been busy building since the launch last year, determined to bring the best index and leverage tokens to the animal lovers. This February, we decided to come out of hibernation, and came to hangout with fellow DeFi builders at EthDenver. We even decided to throw Zoo’s debut party. Here to give you guys a recap!
Zoo’s Multichain Mission
The party is themed Zoo’s Multichain Carnival. In fact, this is the perfect time for us to unveil the multichain index platform that Zoo is building. We all know that since 2021, the multichain future has become a reality. With all the new L1/L2s popping up, it’s becoming increasingly important to create a cohesive platform for standardized index investing to all the blockchains. We all know that each chain’s core value is in the ecosystem, so buy the token when you can buy the whole blockchain?
If you’ve followed Zoo’s twitter, you’d know that Zoo’s getting recognitions in the multichain sphere! With grants and partnership from Polygon, Near, Harmony and much more, we are becoming more and more convinced that, a multichain index platform is Zoo’s mission. Here’s a list of blockchains that Zoo has announced partnership with:

Rest assured, one-by-one, Zoo will be deployed to each of these chains and much more coming. This means in addition to the Bear/Bull leveraged tokens, Zoo will also create composite index for each blockchain ecosystems, encompassing the top tokens native to each chain. The product innovation does not stop here. Zoo will also create thematic indexes, including DeFi, NFT, Metaverse, DAOs and much more, catered towards each blockchain’s community focus.
If you have not yet, come check out Zoo’s website, where we have created a new multichain section for thematic index. Shortly, the “Coming Soon” sign will be removed, followed by Zoo’s test opening (Beta), and then the grant opening! To make that happens, we are going back to hibernation! Recap
It won’t be proper recap without telling you how the party went. This time at Denver, Marshall, Zoo’s founder and CEO led a team of 4 Zookeepers: Brandon the content creator, Shawn the intern, and Awei representing the community. He’s been actively involved in Zoo’s community, so we asked him to onboard this trip (expense paid). Join our Discord and Maybe next time you’ll be the lucky one!
In total, 750 people have RSVPed for the event. That’s right, the place was packed…
To be keen on Zoo’s theme of fun and love. We had popcorn machines, cotton candy, beer pongs, and a Ping-Pong table.
To make it interactive, prior to the event, we actually launched Zoo’s EthDenver Edition NFT Series on OpenSea, and had 3 rounds of raffle for attendees to win the NFTs.
Each attendees was given raffle tickets at the gate, and around the clock each hour, we let co-hosts announce the winners. This turned out to be very exciting for everyone at the venue.
